This is a journey to the depths of Adjara, the region of which the capital is Batumi.
We set off towards the Lesser Caucasus to see gorgeous waterfalls. We don’t even know how many of them exist out there, because we discover new ones every year. You can get to some of them with no problem even with your evening clothes on – no effort and mesmerizing views. But some of them require comfortable shoes and a willingness to get dirty. You can pick a variety of waterfalls to see depending on the type – classic, adventurous or mixed.
How can you even visit Georgia without touring a vineyard? It’s impossible, because here the history of wine-making spans through the time of 8000 years! We will try various sorts of wine at an expert of this subject, find out what is the different between the Georgian and European method of production, and see the charms of life in an Adjarian village.
Next we will invite you to visit the lovely family of Sarkisians. They have a small workshop in their home near the Choroch River, where they make khinkali, pelmieni and pierogi. For our guests, they prepare a khinkali-making class and a feast with some delicious adjarian food and toasts. The homey atmosphere, garden vegetables, cheese from a neighbor’s cow, terrace surrounded by mandarin orange trees with a view of Batumi and a cold wine will make you feel truly in peace!
If we have enough time and desire, we can extend the program to include an entrance to the viewpoint of Jvari.
It’s a trip from Batumi which is extremely popular not only among the ones vacationing in Batumi and it’s no surprise, it puts you in a really good mood?
